Everbuild Stainblock - White 400ml

Uses

The Stainblock by Everbuild is a potent, effective stain block that is formulated with a thick-pigmented white paint that delivers excellent coverage with rapid curing. Its superior composite can prevent unsightly water marks, mould stains, nicotine, rust, soot, grease and pen marks.

Preparation

Preparing the surface is vital to achieve optimal results. If you are completing remedial work on stains due to a water leak, you must address the cause of the leak first; otherwise, you'll experience more issues down the line. If you've got mould present, kill the mould by eradicating it using a mould killer, ensuring that all spores are removed correctly. Remove any dust, rust and soot with a wire brush and wash down areas, allowing them to dry thoroughly before commencing the application.

Application

1. Shake the can thoroughly, ensuring the rattling balls have mixed for at least 1-2 minutes.
2. Spray the Stainblock onto the affected area from a 25-30cm distance away, ensuring the full area is covered.
3. Allow 15 minutes for the coat to dry before applying any more.
4. Once you've covered the stain and it's dried, you can apply paint over it. If you're using solvent-based, use a water-based primer before to ensure compatibility.

Limitations and Notes

• Do not use this product on bitumen
• If unsure, test a small, inconspicuous area before completing the full application.
