The Easy Melt Bonding Bitumen by IKO is perfect for Tradespeople and D.I.Yers alike who require a fast-acting bitumen, only needing 200°C temperature to become workable. It's forged with a pure bitumen composite, which is encased in melt-away packaging, allowing you to throw pieces of bitumen without removing the packaging.
It's perfect for use by roofers when completing roofing systems or various other construction-related applications. This product shouldn't exceed 220°C, so a controlled heated bitumen boiler is recommended. Traditionally, once heated and melted, you pour it directly onto the surface and spread it using a mop. Unroll your choice of roofing roll into the bitumen and allow it to cure together, creating a robust roofing system.
