Follow these simple steps for effective sealant application and long-lasting crack filling results:
Step 1: Prepare the Cartridge
- Cut the dome at the top of the cartridge carefully.
- Avoid damaging the threaded screw to ensure proper nozzle attachment.
Step 2: Cut the Nozzle
- Cut the nozzle at a 45° angle.
- Make the opening slightly larger than the gap you plan to fill to give it optimal coverage.
Step 3: Load the Cartridge
- Insert the cartridge securely into a suitable sealant applicator gun.
Step 4: Apply the Sealant
- Position the tip at one end of the gap.
- Apply a single, continuous bead along the entire gap for consistent sealing.
Step 5: Finish the Application
- Within 10 minutes, tool down the sealant to create a smooth and professional finish.
