Ronseal Quick Drying Stain Block - Aerosol White

Uses

The Stain Block Aerosol by Ronseal's is a convenient, simple-to-use stain blocker that prevents stains from seeping through, causing unsightly walls and ceilings. In just one coat, this product can achieve its ability to prevent stains, but with 2 to 3 coats, you can securely hide the stain. Some of the types of household stains that this product can contain include;

• Crayons
• Wine
• Grease
• Nicotine

Preparation

You should prepare the application by ensuring the room is well-ventilated and place a dust sheet over any furniture to keep it safe from the paint. As you spray this aerosol, paint can fly around if not done safely.

Application

1. Shake the can, paying close attention to the ball's rattle. To mix the aerosol properly, you should ensure the balls rattle for about a minute.
2. Apply to the application area, holding the can about 25-30cm, spraying side to side.
3. Wait for around 10 minutes for the first coat to dry.
4. Apply the second coat in the same fashion as before, giving 10 minutes for this coat to settle as well.
5. Apply a third and final coat if you can still see a stain seeping through.
6. You can decorate over the stain but must wait at least 24 hours to let it fully settle.

Aftercare

This product isn't intended to be a top coat, so decorating over it is expected. You can clean the aerosol by holding it upside down and spraying the can.
