Uses
The Soudal Trade All Weather Sealant excels in various areas around a property. Crafted with a unique and effective composite, it resists water, weathering, and UV rays. This sealant securely seals cracks in guttering and, in addition, acts as an emergency repair, even during rainfall.
Its versatility stands out, adhering effortlessly to multiple substrates with a strong, durable bond.
Preparation
Before applying the sealant make sure to prepare the surface to ensure optimal adhesion and performance. Remove dirt, dust, grease, oil, organic growth, loose debris, and flaking material from the substrate.
Application
- Cut the dome at the top of the cartridge, being careful not to damage the threaded screw.
- Cut the nozzle at a 45° angle. Creating an opening slightly larger than the gap to be filled.
- Place the cartridge into a suitable sealant applicator gun. Point the tip of the cartridge to one end of the gap and apply a single, long bead across the gap.
- After applying the material, tool it down to a smooth, professional finish within 10 minutes.
