Metal Paint
Metal Paints are perfect for restoring old, corroding furniture and surfaces in and around your garden and home. With the correct preparation and application, metal paints can transform dilapidated furniture, rejuvenating it for years to come.
How to apply Metal Paints?
Metal Paints require correct preparation; otherwise, you risk poor performance, with corrosion bleeding through the paints if not removed prior. You should always prepare a metal surface for painting by using a stiff brush to clear any rust and loose, flaking debris. A rust inhibitor can be used to settle any rust and lightly abrade the surface, providing a key for the paints.
Metal Paints should be applied to the surface using a brush, ensuring a thick, even coverage over the surface. Care should be taken when applying, with narrow brushes proven to be most effective in reaching tough-to-reach decals on particular furniture, posts and railings.
