Uses

The Wood Pro Adhesive by Bond It unique hybrid formula is perfect for bonding various types of wood as well as different porous and non-porous substrates, ideal for sealing the wood to the floor; some of the surfaces you can apply it include;

Preparation

Before an application can begin, prepare the surfaces by removing any contaminants interrupting the adhesion, including grease, polish, dust, old adhesive remnants and similar impurities. Any damage to the surface, for example, cracks, should have remedial work done to it before covering it with adhesive and wood. Suppose you intend to have heated wood flooring. In that case, you'll need to ensure that you've turned it off 48 hours before the application and turn it back on 48 hours after application completion.

Application

1. Apply using a standard sealant gun.
2. Cut the top of the cartridge without damaging the threaded screw.
3. Screw the nozzle onto the top of the cartridge.
4. Apply in a wave motion, making the width around 8mm wide and the height 10mm high between each wave. It will ensure equal coverage across the wood.
5. Place the wood with a slight twisting motion and tap into place to tightly secure the two surfaces.

Limitations

Do not apply this product below 10°C and above 30°C; materials should be acclimatised to this temperature in the intended application site prior to installation.
